One person is dead and others were taken to a hospital after shots were fired in Pasco early Halloween morning.
The shooting was at 1:20 a.m. at a business near North Fourth Avenue and West Court Street, said Pasco police.
Initial reports were that three people had been shot. The homicide victim died in the street before they could be taken to a hospital.
At the same time, Pasco police responded to a report of a stabbing near Interstate 82 and Fourth Avenue.
Police, joined by Franklin County Prosecutor Shawn Sant, were still at the crime scene investigating at 10 a.m. Saturday.

North Fourth Avenue between West Court and West Ruby streets was expected to remain closed through at least mid morning.
Multiple law enforcement agencies responded to help Pasco police with the shooting, including the Franklin County and Benton County sheriff’s offices and the Kennewick, West Richland, Richland and Prosser police departments.
Richland Police said in a Facebook post that they assisted with the incident, which left multiple people with injuries from being stabbed or shot.

Pasco police are asking anyone with video from before, during or just after the shooting to share it with them.
Investigators are particularly interested in surveillance footage from nearby businesses, security camera recordings and cell phone videos of people attending a Halloween party at the location of the shooting.

A QR code has been posted to Facebook for submitting footage directly to police.
Those with information related to the shooting also can contact Pasco police by calling 509-628-0333.
